HISTORY OF UNYAGO.

Unyago is traditional dance which is from Ndegereko Tribe in Zanzibar this dance mainly conducted by famous old singer called Bi kidude who is also said to before Ndengereko tribe. This dance is mainly conducted by about 10 women. Once it’s beaten, it be becomes necessary for people to tie their with kanga in order to be much more attracting, the main dramas of this songs are Bi kidude, Bingali and others this two people are common with this song and very expenence This traditional dance must be beaten by old people of ages about 90 years and forth. In many societies (Ndengereko) is beaten during the period of young girls to be we homed man adult period (ages) ie when girls become spinsters in order to be taught how women may be living in adult life during this period the the youngs girls are taken into the room for about (7) seven days and their or her women and starting to be given the rules for women putting stone order to rub on her face called Liwa in Swahili language which means face decorator After seven days that natural women is taken out from the room as the same time Unyago contrives and the women is tied Kanga on her hip and taught how to dance.

In morning the natural women is taken and washed then put new clothes and handed over the things hat have given as a reward as well as handed over to their parents.

UNYAGO FOR WOMEN WHO WANTS TO BE MARRIED
The women is taken inside for one day, scattering mate on the ground Shuka and Kitezo as  well as coconut oil place together with Liwa on place with water in the cup and six women are allowed to get inside the room and the one who is treated must wear of her all clothes and put in short and kanga in her chest sleeping down the mate and the people who treating her only wear Kanga on their chest and short followed by rubbing her every part of her body by using Liwa and coconut oil at the same time the Unyago dance goes on and singing simultaneously until the women be come clean After finishing one among site people take her behind up and covering her with Kanga in the face and taking Chetezo in order for leaving her to go wash during the time to go the looked they sing some song like to Twende nae twende nae .mwanae mpaka ukipata maji chambo maji mboro ya mgeni hailali.  ‘Yoga weee yoga weee mwana ndembo yego aeee yego aeee na mwanae kidongo na mwanae kidongo yoga mwanandembo yoga .after including to the toilet there is special seat and hot water together with oil inside (perfume) in order for giving good smell the people who seas off her to the toilet set there on the seat and the one who is days is taken on the same time nabbing her. By using new saop and new Kanga as well as new shoes sandals. After finishing washing new clothers are put on her at the same time Unyago contours as before she is evoked with Kanga and taken up and singing song  Aya ndembo awana mwanawe ndembo  Aya nembo awana mwanawe and the people who take her up singing song and going to the room countries with teaching and behind there is the preparation for tea(Breakfast) which contain different types of food (meals) and the people sing the song to her that educated her to live with people.
